How many months/years did it take you to make your first $1000 at WA? What is a good niche to choose initially? Do money making/home business blogs make the most money? And is it advisable for a newbie to start at WA with a money making blog? Other than paying for the wealthy affiliate yearly membership, how much does one have to pay for other things like web hosting, autoresponder, themes, domain name etc? eg how much would you have spent on this website other than what you pay to WA?Is this site hosted by WA? If I already have a website-does it still help to join WA?
The best way to think about affiliate marketing is quality over quantity. There are a lot of small websites that will promote your product, but the key is finding a small number of partners that will deliver conversions. For example, an equity management services firm has over 20,000 affiliates in its system, but only about 25 affiliates generate 85 percent of revenue.
The best overall assessment of WA I’ve read yet. I’ve been a member on and off since 2015 and I’m currently on the yearly membership through October. However, I’ve still not made any real money, although I’ve made a bit here and there. I will peruse your site. On the other hand, I will ask you straight up how you go about establishing affiliate partnerships? Part of my problem is I’m not clear about what to market. As a life insurance agent, I’ve tried that to no avail. I’ve also tried marketing WA itself with very minimal results. I’m an affiliate with Amazon, EBay, and Target but I’m doing nothing. To be fair, I have not been as focused on WA and affiliate marketing as I once was. I’m also a teacher and have returned to the classroom. I found myself in bankruptcy as the result of putting all my eggs in one basket, going full-bore with WA, spending all my time and credit there. I remain hopeful I’ll one day finally get it. I’m out of school for the summer and plan to spend at leas the next 2-3 months as close to full time as possible.
I hope you found this Wealthy Affiliate review to be helpful as I put a lot of time into this, but if I didn’t answer a question you have, feel free to comment below, and I will try to give you the best answer I can. The bottom line is, Wealthy Affiliate is the absolute best place I have ever seen to get the training and all the tools you’ll ever need in one place. Plus, if you sign up using my affiliate link, I will personally provide 1 on 1 coaching for you. At the very last, you should consider signing up for the free membership first and just see what you think. If you’re serious about growing an online business, my guess is you’ll be more than satisfied.
Ever since the inception of affiliate marketing 20 years ago it has been really intriguing and it has always fascinated me. To answer your questions you will be considered self employed and you would need to file a schedule C form as a Sole Proprietorship. If you don’t earn more than $600 a year than you don’t need to worry about filing taxes but anything over that amount you would.
My name is Emmeline. I am 28 years old. I live in California working as a receptionist and am living with my family of 5 in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house because I cannot support myself on my income, despite my job being full time. I have an AA degree and have been acting/singing in theatre since I was a kid. I currently do community theatre and stand up comedy alongside my job. But I do not often make money from it, I do it because I love it.
Getting started working online is the most rewarding thing you could ever do and you can work on this as much as you like. In your case you said you could devote 5 hours to it daily and that is great. There are many many scams out there that just want your money and promise you the world. Once you have a WA membership you will never need to search for another work at home offer ever again and lose hundreds of dollars like you already have. I look forward to working with you at WA and when you join please get in touch with me so I can get you on your way to earning money as soon as possible. Get started here
There are lots of brick and mortal businesses that don’t have a website and they are missing out on lots of potential customers. Wealthy Affiliate can show you how to market your business online and you will be expanding your reach worldwide. You will be advertising and listing your products for sale reaching into different countries. That’s the greatest thing about being online the potential is unlimited.
I see people who buy an online course and hope that it will help them get rich right off the bat. They want a complete A-Z. In reality, it’s always going to be a process of trying numerous courses, filtering information, testing things for yourself and seeing what works for you. Courses and mentors will get you there faster, but you will need to put in the work and think for yourself.
As for where to place a disclosure, the guiding principle is that it has to be clear and conspicuous. The closer it is to your recommendation, the better. Putting disclosures in obscure places – for example, buried on an ABOUT US or GENERAL INFO page, behind a poorly labeled hyperlink or in a “terms of service” agreement – isn’t good enough. Neither is placing it below your review or below the link to the online retailer so readers would have to keep scrolling after they finish reading. Consumers should be able to notice the disclosure easily. They shouldn’t have to hunt for it.
A: You should be skeptical when offered something of great value for $0. So what’s the catch when it comes to Wealthy Affiliate? The free membership gives you access to a small part of WA. In order to get more advanced training you’ll have to upgrade to premium membership. That’s the catch. However, I recommend starting with a FREE membership so you could get a feel of this platform and decide if you should upgrade. Free membership is enough to actually start an online business.
So a question I have, just because it didn’t jump into my eyes – does this Wealthy Affiliate Program also include knowledge about list-building? Because this is what i get so far – I should build a following by providing some kinda value to people that click on ads that I place on the internet.. I know – you can’t explain everything – but my question is – do you think I find “everything” here kinda “step-by-step”. Seen that you don’t call SFM a SCAM leaves me unsure, if I should go on a while – and just stay cirtical. What’s your opinion?
If you treat this like a real business and put lots of time and effort into it you will definitely start to see your hard work paying off. If you haven’t already I would sign up for your FREE account by clicking on the join now button above. Once you are inside you should complete your profile setup by uploading a pic of you or you can use 1 of the ones WA provides you with.
Basically, Wealthy Affiliate teaches you to become a successful Affiliate Marketer. You will learn how to promote other people’s product as well as learn how to promote Wealthy Affiliate if you want to. In Wealthy Affiliate, you really get tonnes of information and knowledge that will bring you from being a novice to an advance marketer. If you follow its step-by-step training and do exactly what you are recommended to do, you will see results very soon.
I personally would not recommend going into the ‘make money’ niche either. A lot of affiliates of theirs, in their quest for affiliate commissions, start bashing good products in order to promote Wealthy Affiliate, and that’s just wrong. Besides, if you’re a newbie to making money online, you shouldn’t create a site and pretend to be an expert in it.
i have looked at and tried similar systems and programs in the past, all without success. The web is full of false promises and scams, that it is difficult to trust any. Most follow the same design and claim ‘this and that’ but end up with tools like article spinners that dont work and clickbank banners that have no effect. What makes this system any different?
I’m retired after 33 years as a civil servant with the FDA, handicapped (in a wheelchair). I love my pc, tablets, and surfing the www. I live in central Arkansas and I purchase lots from Amazon and love it. I once had a city website (no longer do) for our city and used Amazon’s affiliate program; however my understanding is that Amazon no longer allows affiliates in Arkansas. Is that still true? I love art (painting, both digital and traditional), reading, photography and surfing the web. I spent my last 10-15 years with the FDA working in the IT arena with it training, helpdesk and website creating and support.
Sure, I could let the countdown timer reach zero before I made my decision and, when I felt comfortable about it, I would later pay the full price of $47. Even this amount is not that high. Think about how much you spend every day on your newspapers and magazines — when there are free online news sites — and how much that totals by the end of each month
You'll get the same from me. Private message me anytime you need help or just want some words of encouragement. I will coach you through, step-by-step. Affiliate marketing is my absolute passion! I want to help as many people as I can. I'm thinking about doing site reviews and critiques but that might be a heavy load. We'll see. You can get your site reviewed within the Wealthy Affiliate platform as well.
You are not obligated to join the yearly membership whatsoever, it is just highly discounted and a great deal for those who can afford it. If you haven’t already I would sign up for your Free account check it out for as long as you like and let me know how you are getting along and how you like it. We will take things from there and I will be there to help you out whenever you need a hand with something or don’t understand something.
You should definitely do this if you want to try it out at a discount, but this is totally up to you man. I can totally relate to you having trouble affording an extra $50 a month because I used to live that way for practically my whole life. All I can say is if you go through the training and follow it exactly how it’s laid out and take action you will start to see results.
However, Wealthy Affiliate does concentrate on affiliate marketing. In short this means choosing a niche (industry), building a website and an online presence in that industry, learning how to rank your website well and how to get traffic to your site. These people who will be coming to your site will be buying products and you will be receiving commissions for those sales. Here is a short video I made that explains in detail how this business model work.
Hello, I’m very interested in getting into the Dot.com world not to get Rich but hopefully to try and make a little supplemental income. I honestly don’t have a ton of money to spend and I’m pretty new to all of this. I was gonna do the Mobe thing but did my research and OH MY GOSH!!! they are asking for a lot of money for no guarantee return.. I understand nothing is guarante’d but for that system it’s not for people who live week to week like me…. I came across Wa on a review stating it was fairly inexpensive with a monthly membership charge.
Hi Scott!Read all the questions & your sincere replies to each of them. I like your patient & caring attitude. I am free member at WA, but haven’t gone past the self profiling & 1st lesson. Reason: being employed doesn’t give me much free time for online learning..not that, having sufficient time to learn would make me an expert, as my ‘Net’ worthiness comes to nearly nothing..yes just web browsing, emailing & stuff like that. Much as I would like to be a Premier member to become very Net savvy with its technicalities, I doubt my own abilities at my age(yes i am 50)to do online business as an affiliate. But affiliate is what i want to be in future. So, Scott advise me.
thanks for your review as in was quite in time before i made any commitments to those coffee guys, but am having difficulties signing up for WA it kept saying i already have an account but its obvious i don’t,and even when i request for forgotten password to be sent to my email,it says my email is not in their database, so i don’t really know what the issue is, please can you assist me? i would really want to go premium.
If anyone is claiming Wealthy Affiliate is a scam, I'm going to guess it's because of one of the following reasons: they are trying to convince you to join a different program or they didn't have success with Wealthy Affiliate. Being a successful affiliate is going to require you to roll up your sleeves and put in some hours. Nobody said it would be easy, and if they did they're lying to you.
Hey Frank! I happened to stumble on this review while reading your review of Kyani. I have already signed up to be a distributor with Kyani so was wondering if WA would be a good place for me to start that business up at? I am pretty new to all this and really need help with getting online sales if possible. I really don’t care to sell products to family and friends. Not that I don’t think the product is a good one, but my family and friends are not on the same wave I am currently on with getting healthy and leading/maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Hope this makes sense as I am typing this as fast as I can from 9-6 desk job! 🙂
Focus on reviewing products that fall within your niche. Then, leveraging the rapport you have created with your audience and your stance as an expert, tell your readers why they would benefit from purchasing the product you are promoting. It is especially effective to compare this product to others in the same category. Most importantly, make sure you are generating detailed, articulate content to improve conversions.
